Cavity Wall Insulation and Thermal Insulation for Wandle Housing Association

Knapman & Sons have recently secured a major new contract with Wandle Housing Association Ltd.

Wandle Housing Association is based in South London and works across several London Boroughs. Originating back in 1972 when the Merton Family
Housing Trust merged with Orford Mount Housing Association, Wandle
have increased their housing stock from 250 properties to over 6,000 and are continuingly developing their stock to meet higher standards.

This particular contract, administered by Jenner Jones, is to provide cavity wall insulation and thermal insulation along with associated electrical works to 76 occupied properties at Christopher Close, London, SE16. Also included within the contract are substantial window and paving repairs to the estate.

Nick Perfect, Knapman & Son’s Project Manager overseeing the works commented..

“Each of the properties on the estate is someone’s home and as such the RLP is to ensure all our operatives working in and around the dwellings appreciate this and understand the high standard expected of them with regards to courtesy and respect. We will be employing full-time Residents Liaison Officer’s throughout the works to ensure residents are kept fully informed of works that will be undertaken to their homes and on the estate”.

The contract is runs over 12 weeks and is due to be completed mid March 2013.
